Help Clara's House Help Others this Big Day of Giving

During this crisis, access to healthcare is more important than ever. While our doors are currently closed, Clara's House remains very much open. We continue to do telemedicine making sure our patients can get their prescriptions refilled and continue their nutrition and respiratory consultations. With help from our student Spanish Medical Translators fromSacramento State, we have a team calling all of our 1154 patients to do COVID-19 patient education, update information in each person's Practice Fusion Profile, and let them know we are here for them. Patients are relieved to hear that they can call the clinic if they need something.

Big Day of Giving is this Thursday and we need your help to ensure we can keep being there for our patients through this pandemic and beyond. This year we are raising funds in order to purchase COVID-19 Immunity Test Kits to test all our patients and staff for antibodies. Amidst the hardships during this pandemic, keeping human life safe by testing is imperative. Help us raise $10,000 during our annual 24-hour fundraiser on May 7!

Save the date: May 7 is Big Day of Giving

Sacramento's annual Big Day of Giving 24 hour fundraiser is Thursday May 7, 2020. Big Day of Giving is an annual event in Sacramento to support the region's non-profit organizations. This will be our 5th year participating in this annual fundraiser. Because it is an online event, organizers have confirmed Big Day of Giving is still happening this year in light of COVID-19.

Big Day of Giving is 24-hour online fundraiser from 12 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. on May 7, 2020: during that time, gifts are made at www.bigdayofgiving.org.

You can schedule your donation for Big Day of Giving at the link above starting April 20. You can also donate to Clara's House at this link year round. However, only donations made after April 20 will count towards our Big Day of Giving goal. There will also be opportunities to donate offline such as by mailing in a check.
