For Patients

New Patients

We provide free medical services in a culturally sensitive manner to people who:

  • Need medical services

  • Have no insurance

  • Lack money to pay for services

  • Do not know about existing services

  • Are unable to use existing services

We provide nearly all services in English or Spanish.  Spanish-speaking translators are available for the small number of services provided in English.

We do not take Medi-Cal, Medicare, or other insurance. If you have Medi-Cal you may be able to receive services through Sacramento County at Sacramento County Health Center. We also do not offer care for children. However, all children in the state of California are eligible for Medi-Cal.

To become a patient you must have a referral from one of our partner agencies.  Please contact one of our partner agencies if you wish to become a patient. We do not take walk-ins. And we do not offer urgent care. We make hour-long appointments to stay in touch with our patients' overall health over time.

Please note that the process to become a patient takes time. It could take several weeks to have your first appointment. If you need care sooner please seek an urgent care clinic. If this is an emergency please call 911 or go to the Emergency Room.

If you have a life-threatening problem, such as lung cancer, give us a call at 916-448-3976 and we will try to expedite your patient application process.

Returning Patients

If you are a returning patient please bring the following to your appointment:

  • All of your medication bottles

  • Glucometer if diabetic

  • Peak flow meter if you use one

  • Please note appointments are 1 hour

Follow-up appointments are made at the clinic. If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment call us as soon as possible at 916-448-3976.

It is important to keep your appointments. Please call at least 2 days ahead if you need to cancel an appointment. More than three missed appointments could lead to dismissal from the clinic.
